Meet the Team

Robert Kremnizer

Robert Kremnizer B.A. L.L.B is a Director and is the head of Lending and Investment at Baccus.

Robert has a major role within the management of our mortgage fund particularly in the credit assessment and the approval process. Robert is a member of the Lending Committee.

Robert was admitted as a solicitor in March 1967 and within two years had established his own practice, RL Kremnizer & Co. In 1993, he decided to focus solely on mortgage transactions and Co-Founded Baccus with David Bleier. He has extensive and well-developed industry contacts, a depth of experience in all levels of residential and commercial property lending and an appreciation of the various factors that may impact that industry over time and through a variety of economic cycles.

David Bleier

David Bleier is a Director and Head of Distribution at Baccus. 

David is responsible for sourcing new loan opportunities through his extensive network of contacts built up over 30 years in the finance and mortgage industry. He has a wealth of experience in the mortgage industry, in particular, in assessing the creditworthiness of borrowers. David is a member of the Lending Committee. 

Soon after starting his own mortgage brokerage firm, David co-founded Baccus with Robert Kremnizer to link his experience and contacts in the brokerage market to the mortgage fund. 

Anthony Etzine

Anthony Etzine B.Bus Sci is a Director and Compliance Manager of Baccus.

He heads up the team responsible for the day to day management of the mortgage fund as well as all of the compliance and regulatory matters. Anthony is a member of the Lending Committee.

After spending three years at Deloittes Haskins & Sells qualifying as a Chartered Accountant, he was recruited in 1983 to work as a CPA for Altshuler Melvoin & Glasser, a large accounting firm in Chicago Illinois, which specialised in advising medium sized enterprises. Anthony joined Baccus in 2004 and has since established a well-developed system for managing the mortgages from their inception to settlement and throughout the life of the loan.

Rhonda Galayini

Rhonda Galayini B HealthSc LLM is the in-house legal counsel at Baccus.

Rhonda was admitted as a Solicitor in 2007 and joined Baccus in 2008. Rhonda has specialised in the mortgage services sector since. Rhonda heads up our legal team that handles all our legal requirements from settlement to the discharge of the loan, including security enforcement if necessary.

Rhonda’s understanding of the financial services industry enables her team to respond quickly to your requirements. Her ability to deal with complex matters means Baccus can promptly identify the key issues and establish what needs to be done to reach the best commercial result and protect your interests in any Mortgage transaction. 

Levi Steiner

Levi Steiner (CA) is the Business Development Manager at Baccus.

Levi joined Baccus in 2021 to help grow and scale the business particularly in its Investment and Distribution channels. He also assists the Financial controller on day to day matters with his extensive experience.

Prior to joining Baccus, Levi was a partner in a Tax and Finance firm in Sydney and worked in public practice for over 10 years. Levi has a wealth of knowledge in structuring and tax compliance and became a Member of Chartered Accountants Australia & New Zealand in 2017.
